No, our courses are open to all students interested in learning about Christianity.
Our courses do not expire. Students often want to be able to rewatch a lecture or come back later and take a course again. While it’s best to watch the lectures at a steady pace, we know that people often have to fit learning into busy schedules. We provide unlimited access to any purchased course.
Because of ad blockers built into some browsers, the videos will not play. For example, the ad blockers built into the Brave Browsers prevent some of our course videos from playing. We recommend using Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge to watch out course videos. However, if an issue persists, please contact us for further information and support.
Because of the recording equipment and age of the recordings, some of the course audio is not ideal. With that being the case, over the course of the next few years, we hope to refurbish all audio/visual content for maximum quality. Thank you for your patience, and we appreciate your support.
Theosis Academy is owned and operated by the Ex Umbris Institute, a nonprofit organization recognized as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. As a mission-driven educational initiative, Theosis Academy functions under the auspices and legal authority of the Ex Umbris Institute, which is responsible for its governance, administration, and ongoing operation in accordance with its charitable and educational purposes.
Theosis Academy is a program administered by the nonprofit organization known as the Ex Umbris Institute. Access to courses offered through Theosis Academy is granted to users pursuant to a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license for personal, non-commercial use. By purchasing access to any course, the user expressly acknowledges and agrees that no ownership rights in the course materials, video lectures, or any underlying intellectual property are transferred or conferred. Rather, the user is granted a right to stream and access such content solely in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth herein.
Continued access to course materials is contingent upon the ongoing operation of the Theosis Academy platform by the Ex Umbris Institute and the Institute’s ability to maintain or renew the requisite licensing agreements with the respective content providers. The Ex Umbris Institute reserves the right, at its sole discretion and without liability, to modify, suspend, or discontinue access to any course content in the event that (i) the Institute ceases operation of the platform, in whole or in part, or (ii) any relevant licensing or contractual agreement is terminated, expires, or is not renewed. Users understand and agree that course access is provided in a manner similar to digital content licensed through services such as Amazon Prime Video, and that permanent download or ownership of the materials is not included in any purchase.
